Meet our team! This is Genesis Martinez. She is an Intake Specialist at Liner Legal. She has been working with our team of Disability Warriors for months now, and loves interacting with clients! KN: Tell me about your family.
GM: My partner is Sam Teck. I have one adorable and mischievous son named Sage Aziel Teck, and he will turn 2 years in November 2023.
KN: What is your favorite food?
GM: My favorite food is a famous Salvadoran dish called Pupusas.
KN: What is the best place you’ve traveled?
GM: My father is from El Salvador and I’ve been there twice and I simply love the ambiance and beauty that El Salvador has to offer.
KN: What is your favorite TV show/movie?
GM: My all-time favorite show is Friends, followed by The Golden Girls and the Big Bang Theory.
KN: What do you do in your spare time?
GM: I love spending time with Sage, my son. I tend to read and show him what the world has to offer. He is very smart and is in the stage where is he quickly absorbing any new information.
KN: What is your favorite thing about working with Liner Legal?
GM: My favorite thing about being with Liner Legal is getting the opportunity to speak with potential clients from all ages and backgrounds and assisting them with explaining what Social Security Disability is all about.
KN: What do you look forward to most in your career with us?
GM: I want to expand my skills and knowledge about disability so I am able to grow within the firm and make a bigger impact in our client’s case and life.
KN: What makes you a disability warrior?
GM: Applying and going through the Social Security Disability process can be very frightening and frustrating and oftentimes, I get to brighten someone’s day simply by informing them that yes, we want to take their case and fight in order to get them approved.
