At Liner Legal, we know the fight for disability benefits is long and leaves many financial gaps, adding stress to your life. The Disability Warriors at Liner Legal are here to walk alongside you, helping bridge that gap each step of the way. Today, we’re shedding light on a crucial aspect of our disability law firm: the role of our Client Concierge. This role is pivotal in making sure that your experience with our firm is smooth, supportive, and tailored to your specific needs. To discuss the importance and uniqueness of this role, Liner Legal’s Director of Marketing, Katie Nobles, sat down with our Client Concierge, Jordyn Paratore.
KN: For those that are unfamiliar with what you do here at Liner Legal, tell us about your job as a Client Concierge.
JP: I assist our clients with finding community resources while we work on their disability cases.
KN: What is a Client Concierge?
JP: The Client Concierge is your personal guide and supporter throughout your disability claim process. Think of them as a bridge between you and the legal complexities you face. They are here to make sure that your journey through the legal system is as seamless and stress-free as possible.
KN: Tell me about your background.
JP: I was previously in the mental health field working at an inpatient hospital and also in the community on a crisis team. Those positions taught me so much and fueled a fire inside me to learn about what community resources could be available to my clients. I made it my mission to learn and connect with as many resources as I could.
KN: You’re a licensed clinical counselor, how have you used those skills in your job here at Liner Legal?
JP: I try to be the best listener I can be. I am of course not providing traditional counseling, but I can listen and make a person feel heard and comfortable.
KN: Why is a position like a Client Concierge so needed in law firms, especially one helping people obtain disability benefits?
JP: It is SO needed. Our clients have multiple needs and there are other things in life happening apart from their disability case. I think it is nice to know we can help with things other than their disability case.
KN: You’ve been fighting for our clients and changing lives for over three years at Liner Legal. How has the Client Concierge position changed in that time?
JP: It has expanded so much! When I first began, we were a firm serving clients in only Ohio. Now we have grown nationwide! I have had the pleasure of speaking with clients in just about all 50 states!
KN: What is your favorite part of your job?
JP: I have the best job in the world! I love learning about resources within communities and passing the information along to our clients. I also love working with community partners and developing partnerships with them to help our mutual clients.
KN: What is the most rewarding part of your job?
JP: The most rewarding part of the job is providing a glimmer of hope to our clients during a really difficult time for them.
KN: Is there a specific story that sticks out in your mind from when you helped a client?
JP: There have been a couple of occasions where I have been at the right place at the right time learning about resources that I could pass along to our clients. If I weren’t in the specific meeting or group get-together, I would not have known about something that could be life-changing for our clients!
KN: What would you say to clients that are hesitant to reach out for help?
JP: Please reach out anyway! I love talking with our clients and hearing their stories. I will always do my best to find a resource for you.
