As Director of Operations at Liner Legal, Catherine Skalla ensures that every client receives timely, compassionate, and efficient support. With over a decade of experience in disability law firm operations, Catherine plays a pivotal role in making sure our systems serve one mission: helping individuals secure the disability benefits they deserve.
From Business to Advocacy
A graduate of The Ohio State University with a degree in Business Administration, Catherine began her career in corporate operations before shifting into the legal field. After earning her paralegal certification, she joined Liner Legal at its founding quickly becoming a foundational member of the team.
She’s worked in nearly every role at the firm, from acquiring medical records to managing full disability cases. Today, she leads the operational structure that powers our national growth and client-first culture.

- Streamlining Social Security Disability (SSDI/SSI) and LTD case workflows to reduce delays in disability claims
- Managing internal systems and team communications
- Ensuring smooth client intake, follow up, and documentation processes
- Frequent speaker Improving processes to enhance case outcomes across SSDI, SSI, and LTD casesmentor in the disability law community
Her leadership helps ensure that clients across all 50 states experience seamless, supportive service throughout the legal process.
A Mission That’s Deeply Personal
Catherine’s connection to disability law is both professional and personal. As a parent to a child navigating autism, ADHD, and anxiety, she understands firsthand the emotional and logistical challenges many of our clients face.
Her daughter is currently filing for disability with Liner Legal’s support reinforcing Catherine’s deep trust in the firm’s mission and her commitment to helping every client feel seen and supported.
