Superstar Paralegal Assistant

Become a Disability Warrior

High energy, client-service driven and community focused disability law firm seeking a SUPERSTAR paralegal assistant for Cleveland office. This is a great opportunity for personal growth and development with a fast growing team of legal professionals. Responsibilities for this job include, but are not limited to: frequent telephone communication with clients, building client files by identifying and obtaining relevant medical records (though we maintain a 100% paperless office), and assisting lead paralegal with daily office tasks.

Requirements

Proficient with Windows, Microsoft Office and Internet; upbeat, friendly & professional disposition; excellent phone etiquette. Must be self-motivated, unafraid of hard work and able to work without constant supervision. Please disqualify yourself from applying if you are not willing to be a team player, are unable to take constructive criticism, or get easily frustrated. Further, please do not apply for this position if you do not take pride and ownership in your work or if you cannot maintain a smile on your face even while communicating with severely disabled clients who may repeat questions, complain without warrant and often times struggle to communicate at all. Compensation will be an annual salary commensurate with job requirements and experience level of candidate; however, this is not the right job for someone whose sole professional motivation is collecting a paycheck.

Instructions

The following instructions are very important, so please read them carefully and make sure you follow specific directions—any deviance from these requirements will result in disqualification of your application. Please submit resume and cover letter, both in .pdf format, for further consideration to both Michael Liner at mliner@linerlegal.com and Andrew November at anovember@linerlegal.com. The subject of your e-mail containing cover letter and resume must read “Superstar Paralegal Assistant Application”. Please include in the introductory sentence of your e-mail what your favorite flavor of ice cream is.
