Some medical providers may charge an administrative fee to complete disability paperwork or Medical Source Statement (MSS) forms. These fees are determined solely by the provider’s office and are not controlled by Liner Legal or the Social Security Administration.

In many cases, providers complete MSS forms voluntarily as part of supporting their patient’s medical care and disability claim. Liner Legal does not typically pay providers for completing MSS forms, and we generally do not expect our clients to do so either.

However, every medical office has its own policies. If your provider requests a fee and you have concerns or questions about how to proceed, please contact our team before making any payment decisions.

Even if a provider is unwilling to complete a form, there may still be other medical evidence that can help support your case.
